It’s Thankful Thursday!

It’s time to give thanks for the things, events people that have made our week.

This week, I’m very thankful for:

1. The great community spirit demonstrated in my home town at the weekend, when hundreds of people turned up to picket our local council, demanding that our town centre regeneration goes ahead.
2. My friend, Anna, who left a lovely message on my Facebook page on Monday, when I was suffering from a severe bout of Monday Blues.
3. My wonderful little daughters, who have been practising writing sentences by making me beautiful illustrated notes saying, “I love my mummy.” and “My mummy is the best.”
4. My growing community of readers of my blog, who take time to leave me comments.  (Oh how I *heart* comments!) 
5. My Lost Season 4 box set has arrived!  Yeeha!  I love this program!  Thank you to the creators and the wonderful cast for making this magnificent show!

1. To the lorry driver who sat with his engine idling near my home at 4am yesterday morning – Thank you very much for waking me TWO hours before my alarm was due to go off!

To my old broadband provider – Thank you very much for giving me my MAC code, which I requested by post TEN days beforehand.  Thank you very much for forcing me to endure the excrutiating experience that is being held in a queue for your magnificent off-shore call centre.  Thank you very much for sending me special offers through the post, by text and by email in the days and weeks after I requested you close my account. 
3. To my new broadband provider – Thankyou very much for connecting my broadband.  Never mind that it’s TWO days late.  I can’t connect to the Internet yet anyway!  You still haven’t delivered my Welcome Pack and wireless router!
