The One-Minute Writer: Today's Writing Prompt: Travel
Today, I have to write about the most important item I like to carry with me for a long day of traveling.
Before setting out on a long plane or train journey, I make sure I have ample reading material with me. There is nothing that will make my journey pass quicker than a good book. I like to completely immerse myself in the story.

This is an inspiring story of a couple who are rebuilding their marriage after finding themselves on the brink of divorce. Their newly-strengthened relationship is put under strain by problems at work and a catastrophic event which not only tests their relationship and their faith, but also shakes the entire community.

Mad About Chicken Nuggets?
Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of doing a frontline job will appreciate this video clip of a crazy lady kicking off because a fast-food outlet will not give her chicken nuggets.
The restaurant was still serving breakfast, but the customer was intent on getting nuggets. I don’t understand her problem. I mean, I much prefer the breakfast menu at McDonalds!!

Rise in youngsters at Open University
I am currently looking into upgrading my degree to Honours, to give me the option of doing a post graduate course in the future. I will either be studying at Glasgow Caledonian University one night per week or via distance learning with the Open University.
Studying at Glasgow Caledonian would mean that I would have close contact with tutors and fellow students. However, it would mean that I would have to commit myself to travelling into Glasgow after work one night a week, every week.
