MammaKerr is brought to you via the fantastic blogging platform of WordPress.  I love using WordPress and I love to personalise my blog’s theme by using various plugins.  Here’s ten of my favourites:

1. SI Captcha Anti Spam – This handy tool helps to prevent spammers from leaving malicious comments and links on my blog.
2. Akismet – This is a great tool, which blocks spam from the outset.
3. Spammer Blocker – This plugin prevents people from leaving comments if their previous comments have been deemed to be spam.
4. Featurific – This creates a featured post gallery slideshow on my main blog page with images and a little blurb about the post.
5. Sexy Bookmarks – This inserts attractive social bookmarking and networking icons at the bottom of each post.
6. Simple Image – This allows me to easily insert images to my sidebars.
7. Adsense Now – A useful tool to allow me to advertise using Google Adsense.
8. Gigya Toolbar – This is the cool toolbar at the foot of my blog, which enables easy reader interaction.
9. Similar Posts – This shows (and links to) posts similar to the current one by using tags and categories.
10. Twitter Tools – Not only does this plugin feed my blog posts to Twitter, but it can also attach #hashtags to the tweet.
