First up, Five Question Friday…
It’s Working Mommy Wednesday and I am packing up my things for an office move. We’re not only moving office, but we’re also moving building! Our new office is literally a two-minute stroll from my house, so I’ll be able to go home for lunch every day!
We’re moving first thing tomorrow… Now it’s time for the WMW prompts:
#1. Being that is was Father’s Day, what is your greatest memory about your Dad or about your husband when he became a Dad.
I could’ve lost my Hubby on his 40th Birthday! His brave actions put his own life at risk to save the lives of hundreds of passengers at Glasgow Airport on the day that an attempted terrorist attack took place.
We had just returned from a family holiday on 30th June 2007, when two terrorists stormed the airport with a jeep loaded with petrol cannisters. The terrorists then started attacking a policeman who had run to the scene, before one of the men actually set himself alight! My husband had been packing our suitcases into the car when the attackers struck. At first he thought it was just an accident, but pretty soon he realised that something far more sinister was unfolding, and he ran to the aid of the lone policeman who was under attack by the terrorists.
Today I’d like to share some humour with you, inspired by an email from my good friend Anna!
