Like most people I know, I have had to be more careful with my money in the past year or so.  One of the outcomes of the recent Global Recession is that a great many people have made huge lifestyle changes and adopted a frugal lifestyle akin to the lifestyle of our grandparents during wartime.

I too, am looking to make lifestyle changes. I am striving to be more frugal, self-sufficient and environmentally friendly. I intend to blog about the step changes, as they occur, in this website.
